Story

One day in Radz-at-Han, a loving mother-to-be went to fetch some water in preparation for the upcoming heat spell. She had not heard, however, about the warning to not fetch water from the nearby stream as it had been tainted by an aetheric disturbance. It was discovered after observing changes in the behaviour of frogs living in and near the water. As she drank of the cool fresh water, she was seized by abdominal pain as her water broke. Her man candy husband rushed in, coaching his wife as best as he could given no chance of making it to the infirmary in time. Thus, Aluxio Salire was born, launching from his confines in the womb.Aluxio knew early on he was going to be an adventurer. It started with a trip to the market plaza, when he ended up getting lost in the crowd. A beautiful adventurer woman had spotted him crying for help and offered her assistance, telling him all of her stories as they searched for his mother. She saw the fire in his eyes and told him how brave he was to ask for help when he needed it, and he could one day be an adventurer too. That woman was Lady Gaga.Things changed in his teens when one day, a lot more than his affinity for manipulating aether awakened. During training, his archery teacher Akshan, a male Hrothgar from Yedlihmad, started looking good, like, really good. Not long after, Aluxio learned how to bend more than just bows, deciding to up his training hours. Despite having to learn to walk again every day, he trained and studied diligently, ultimately wielding magic on the offensive, despite his talent for healing being superior. Courtesy of a friend of his parents on the Forum, his studies were rewarded with an invitation to Sharlayan, where he’d discover and learn Pictomancy, passing time building stacks on stacks of white aetherhues (😉). Now 29, after 9 years in Sharlayan, Aluxio bade farewell to the daddies homies he befriended in Sharlayan, setting out with nary a clue where and who the road (a)head leads to.

Hello, I am the mind behind Aluxio. Hold applause (jkjk). I started playing FF early 2024 at the persistent request of my good bestie, and now I have a new addiction YAY [applausetrack.mp3]! Not gonna lie, it was because of the stories of the roleplaying scene I heard from her that my interest was piqued, but then I played the story and cried after having caught up this game is so good oh my GOD. Finally, an MMO I see myself playing long term. I’m kinda rusty, I haven’t done roleplay of any kind since 2017 if not before, so I don’t think I have it in me to do more than a paragraph at a time for now. Taking examples from players I’ve come across, I have some ground rules [seriousmusic.mp3]:- All RPs are not a reflection of my personal feelings and relationships. Writing a scene with you is not a romantic advance. Aluxio and his hot girl antics are his own, me and my life outside of FF are a separate thing. I’d prefer to not have RP be a direct influence on any relationships I make in this game, let it just be a fun, quirky, random, story about the characters we play. That’s how I see it. If there’s any issue let’s talk it out.- Where ERP is concerned, it was my jam back in my RP days. I like smut/literotica etc. so I’m down to clown. I am in fact 29 years old, so it goes without saying you must be 21+ years old if we’re writing mature/sexually explicit material. Also, let’s discuss it beforehand so we can both consent to what we’re gonna write. Lalafells will be slow roasted at 350° and served with a side of fries and coleslaw (I joke, but seriously, I will not do sexual content of any kind with a Lalafell, argue with the wall).-I, for real for real, am a bit of a shy person so being the conversation starter isn’t always the first thing that comes to mind. I don’t mind one-off RPs, but I’d like to make a friend out of it if at all possible. If I seem like I’ve gone silent, it’s not because I don’t want to interact anymore, truly it’s because I’ve likely found yet another thing to hyperfixate on in this game.
